In a few hours time we'll see Ryota Murata (12-0, 9) [村田 諒太] battle against the experienced Freanch based Cameroonian born Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (35-2, 21), in a bout for the WBA Middleweight title,with the bout set to be aired on Fuji TV as their headline bout for Day 1 of the 2017 Boing FES.
The unbeaten Japanese fighter is looking to securing his place in history as the first Japanese Olympic gold medal winner to become a professional world champion and only the second Japanese fighter to win a world title at Middleweight.
Murata, despite history beign against him, the favourite. At the time of writing he is a 8/15 favourite, with some bookies having him priced at 1/2. The odds suggest that the bookies favourit the local hereo to come out on top, but do see the bout as a competitive one, and know that this will be a step up for the Japanese puncher.
As fo the more experienced N'Dam N'Jikam the odds are around 7/4, suggesting "liver under-dog", with N'Dam havign the edge in natural skills and experience, even though he's a smaller and older fighter. As for the draw that's between 25/1 and 20/1
