Earlier today in Japan there was a press announcement from Kdoebi regarding their next show, set for August 2nd at the Shinjuku Face, in Tokyo.
The main event of the card will be a Heavyweight bout featuring Japanese Heavyweight champion Kyotaro Fujimoto (14-1, 7) [藤本 京太郎], who will be fighting in a non-title bout against a yet to be named opponent, expected to be an Australian. The bout is thought to be one of Kyotaro's final bouts before he begins to chase a world title fight, which he's eyeing for 2017.
Another set to feature on the card is the world ranked Yukinori Oguni (17-1-1, 6) [小國 以載], who is thought to be in the running to face the winner of the upcoming IBF Super Bantamweight world title fight between Shingo Wake (20-4-2, 12) [和氣 慎吾] and Dominican power puncher Jonathan Guzman (21-0-0-1, 21), set for July 20th.
Also in action here will be former world title challenger Motoki Sasaki (40-10-1, 25) [佐々木基樹], who will be fighting for the second time since returning to the ring earlier this year.
Sadly non of the main fighters have yet to have their opponents named for the show.
