Omayao had been the debut opponent of Naoya Inoue and Inoue, a big Light Flyweight, took 4 rounds to stop Omayao and despite the fact he has been stopped in recent fights he has never been blown away like this. In fact his 26 fight career Omayao he had gone 12 rounds with WanhengMenayothin, 10 rounds with Yuki Chinen and 7 rounds with Yodmongkol Vos Saengthep.
Having answered questions about his power Tanaka took the next step in his career and called for a fight with OPBF Minimumweight champion Ryuji Hara. Having been ranked #2 by the OPBF and having just blown away the #3 ranked fighter we'd be shocked if the OPBF doesn't think about ordering this one as a mandatory.
If we did get Tanaka Vs Hara by the end of this year it'd be clear that Tanaka's intentions would be to win a world title next year. If he does this it shows his incredible ambition to prove himself as quickly as possible.
