Tomorrow fans at the Sumiyoshi Center will get the chance to see a WBC Middleweight Youth title bout as Japan's big punching Koki Tyson* (9-2-1, 9) [太尊 康輝] battles Thai visitor Petchsuriya Singwancha (15-11, 8) [เพชรสุริยา สิงห์วังชา], in what will be the second bout between the two men.
The two men weighed in today for the bout with both making the Middleweight limit with relative ease.
Tyson, who won the first bout between the two men via 4th round KO, came in at 159.4lbs for the bout, well under the limit. It's clear that he has put in a determined in training camp following his stoppage loss to Akio Shibata last year and he looked in great shape at the weigh in, as he always does.
As for Petchsuriya he was surprisingly bang on the limit, though did appear to be slightly fleshy. Like Tyson it's clear he has put in his training and he appeared very confident of taking the belt back to Thailand. Despite his confident he is the clear under-dog coming into the bout.
*Koki Tyson has previously gone by the names Koki Tyson Maebara, and Muhammed Tyson Koki
