The big story of the card was that Yu Kimura (17-2-1, 3) would be challenging WBC Light Flyweight champion Pedro Guevara (26-1-1, 17) in a brilliant match up. We were since told that Takahiro Ao (27-3-1-1, 12), Toshiyuki Igarashi (21-2-1, 11) and Ryosuke Iwasa (19-2, 12) would all be in action.
Today we can add another world title fight to the card with all-action OPBF Flyweight champion Koki Eto (17-3-1, 13) now set to fight WBC Super Flyweight champion Carlos Cuadras (33-0-1, 26), in what could be a potential sleeper FOTY contender.
Eto, who was in a run of enthralling bouts in 2013-2014, will be in his first world title fight and will be the under-dog but given his heart and style we'd be shocked if this wasn't a thriller.
Excitingly the winner of this one will be forced to face Thailand's dangerous Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in 2016, in another potentially brilliant match up.
WOWOW undercard expected to be packed with Igarashi, Ao and Iwasa!
