On Friday several Japanese fighters are in action on the road, with two fighters in action in South Africa and another in Australia.
The man fighting in Australia is Yosuke Kirima (22-5-2, 15) [切間 庸裕] who faces off against local fighter Michael Zerafa (18-2, 10), the man best known as being "that stripper Peter Quillin fought".
On Thursday the two men weighed in for their bout, which will be for the IBF Pan Pacific Middleweight title, and both made weight.
On the scales Kirima was 158.95lbs, well under the divisional limit, whilst Zerafa was 159.17lbs, also massively under the maximum allowed.
The fight, which takes place in the Melbourne Pavilion, is expected to be a good one, though we must say that Zerafa starts the bout as the favourite with the local crowd likely to be well behind him.
