Earlier today Vesti.KZ reported that unbeaten fighters Ablaikhan Khussainov (10-0, 7) [Хусаинов Абылайхан] and Batyrzhan Jukembayev (14-0-0-2, 12) [Батыржан Джукембаевto] have now signalled thair intent to sign with the world famous Egis Klimas, and that deals are expected to be signed with the manager in the coming weeks.
It's unclear which promotional channel that they would be going down if Klimas ends up guiding their career's, but it's clear they are in reliable hands, joining a manager who looks after a real who's who of boxing, including Vasyl Lomachenko including Sergey Kovalev.
We're hoping to see both men in action in the next few months as they look to get their career on track.
For Khussainov it seems straight forward following his split from Eye of the Tiger, which happened at the end of 2018. Since splitting with their former Canadian promoter Khussainov has fought once, on a card in Kazakhstan.
Jukembayev on the other hand, hasn't fought at all, since a public falling out with Eye of the Tiger Management last year, in which they stated he was "no longer part of the family"
It has now been confirmed that Jukembayev is isn't as free as Vesti.kz have reported with Boxrec editor Philipe St-Martin, @boxrec_canada getting confirmation that Jukembayev is still with Eye of The Tiger Management
Tweeting "Got confirmation that this report is not true. Jukembayev still under promotional contract with @EOTMVD and manager is still Anna Reva"
It is worth noting that Reva is the former manager of Arthur Beterbiev, who was taken to court by Reva for trying to leave her and that Jukembayev wanting to leave her is no hidden secret in Canadian or Kazakh boxing circles, with the fighter previously reported as wanting to sign with Golden Boy Promotions.
