We have just been informed that Japanese super prospect Ken Shiro (1-0) will be returning to the ring on October 19th, just weeks after making his very impressive debut.
On debut, this past Sunday, Ken Shiro dominated Indonesian veteran Heri Amol (34-18-4, 14) dropping Amol in round 4 to help him secure a wide victory over the 6 round distance. Although a little disappointed not to finish off Amol it was obvious that Ken Shiro was very proud of his performance.
Following the victory Ken Shiro's father, and trainer, Hisashi Teraji announced that the fighter would be fighting again on October 19th in Kyoto. No other details have yet been released but we'd not be shocked if the fighter was looking towards an 8 round bout.
Whilst footage of Ken Shiro's debut has yet to surface we've been told that his jab was sensational and was used to great effect keeping Amol handcuffed offensively. Hopefully footage will emerge in the next 24 hours or so.
