The WBA Welterweight "Super" champion had been in Japan a number of years ago and admitted being a big fan of Japan, Japanese culture, food and fashion. It did however take several years for him to return to the country where is still enjoying a training camp and making the most of his time there.
The well liked American stated that if he's looking to face Kell Brook after he over-comes Danny Garcia, in the hope of unifying the WBA, WBC and IBF titles. If he can beat Garcia and Brook in 2017 it would certainly strengthen his claim of being the best Welterweight on the planet and make him a front runner for the Fighter of the year. That however is still along way from happening and would take two of his best career wins to have him in that mix.
