Japan's talented Kazuto Ioka (19-1, 11) [井岡一翔], the current WBA "regular" Flyweight champion has revealed that he is likely to return to the ring in mid-July.
The 3-weight world champion hasn't had an opponent, date or venue set though it seems likely that he will be fighting in Osaka in mid-July against a "top contender", which may mean bouts with the likes of "interim" champion Stamp Kiatniwat (15-0, 6) [แสตมป์ กระทิงแดงยิม], former champion Yodmongkol Vor Saengthep (39-3, 25) [ยอดมงคล ซีพีเฟรชมาร์ท] or the WBA #3 ranked Noknoi Sitthiprasert (56-4, 34) [นกน้อย ซีพีเฟรชมาร์ท].
At the moment it's also unclear on who would be involved on the under-card, though it seems likely that either Sho Ishida (21-0, 10) [石田 匠] or Ryo Miyazaki (24-1-3, 15) [宮崎 亮] will be involved in a bout of note on the card, with both eyeing up potential world title fights before the year is over.
