The Japanese champion set to take part on the show is Japanese Lightweight champion Shuhei Tsuchiya (22-4, 18) [土屋 修平] who will be making his first defense of the title that he won late last year. Tscuhiya will be defending his title against mandatory challenger Kazuhiro Nishitani (16-4-1, 8) [西谷 和宏], who will be getting his second title fight, following a close loss last year to Kota Tokunaga. For Tsuchiya the bout will be his first defense, and will given him a chance to establish his reign which began with a win over Masashi Noguchi for the vacant title, after it had been given up by Nihito Arakawa.
The former champion is former 140lb title holder Hiroki Okada (14-0, 10) [岡田 博喜] who will be fighting for the first time since he vacated the title. Okada will be up against Filipino journeyman Rodel Wenceslao (11-13-1, 4), who will be remembered by Japanese fans for his December 2014 loss to Keita Obara. Okada has made it known that he wants to fight for regional title bouts and althoigh this won't prepare him for that level of competition it does seem likely that we will see him in with a notable Filipino later this year.
The aforementioned exciting prospect Kazuki Saito (2-0, 2) [斎藤 一貴], who looks to extend his perfect start by taking on Jimmy Borbon (5-4-3, 3). Saito has impressed since turning professional and will be fighting in a scheduled 8 rounder here, with his team likely looking to move him into the rankings later this year.
Although their are other bouts on this card these are the three that are the most notable.
From what we understand the show will be aired on G+, though it's unclear if it will be aired live on tape delay.
