Earlier today saw another Japanese boxing gym open in Yokohama with the hope that it will develop some of the next generation of Japanese star.
The gym's opening, which came at around noon local time on Sunday, was attended by around 100 people including several members of Japanese boxing royalty, including future world title challenger Shingo Wake, 2-weight world champion Naoya Inoue and 3-weight world champion Akira Yaegashi.
The gym, is to be chaired by Shiro Arai, a former trainer at Kyoei, and will run with the intention of developing professional fighters, but will have features of sports club which will likely help benefit those who aren't professional fighters.
At the moment the website for the gym is relatively scarce though for those interested they can find out a little more here http://kandw-boxing.com.
