Dubbed as "the next Filipino boxing star" Doliguez has already started to make his name across the world. Whilst his international debut was a somewhat disappointing draw, in Mexico, with Ruben Tamayo he did impress when he fought in the US and stopped Giovanni Caro in highly entertaining fashion.
Gifted with serious power and an attractive aggressive style, Doliguez does have major potential. Unfortunately he is incredibly raw and needs serious work to smooth off his game. If, as expected, he can get that through high level sparring in Mexico then there is no reason why Doliguez can't, one day, go on to win a world title somewhere down the line.
Currently ranked #7 by the WBO at Featherweight Doliguez will be very interested in the upcoming WBO world title fight between Orlando Salido and Vasyl Lomachenko. We think a bout with either of those men would be too much, for the time being, for Doliguez but it'll be a genuine surprise if he can't work his way towards an "easier" title somewhere down the line, especially when you consider he's just 22 years old.
