Earlier today we stumbled on odds for this weeks WBC Lightweight title fight between Jorge Linares (37-3, 24) and Javier Prieto (24-7-2, 18). Those odds, released by two bookies, seemed to strongly back Linares to win.
For those wanting to back the Japanese based Venezuelan he is best priced at 1/9 with, bet365.com, whilst the alternative is 1/15 with Paddy Power. It should go without saying that both bookies have got him as a nailed on favourite. As for Prieto he is available at 13/2 with Paddy Power for those who perhaps see some value in the upset, afterall Linares has lost fights he was supposed to win in the past. For those Bet365 customers Prieto is only 5/1.
For those wanting to go with the draw Paddy Power offer it at 22/1.
Sadly these are the only markets available on this particular fight, though they do sum up the idea that Linares should win despite his known vulnerabilities.
