Earlier today saw the official weigh in for tomorrow's unbeaten show in Australia tomorrow morning between the very promising John Vincent Moralde (11-0, 6) and Australian puncher Brayd Smith (12-0, 10).
The two men, who meet in a bout for the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental Featherweight title, both looked confident at the weigh in and were both said to have made weight easily, though we've yet to be sent the specific details of their weights.
For both men this is the most significant bout of their careers so far.
The 23 year Smith will be the favourite. He is on home soil and has scored the most notable win to date, a 111 second blow out against Gabriel Altarejos. Another thing going against the 20 year old Filipino fighter is that he is naturally the smaller man, and is coming up from Super Bantamweight for this bout.
Despite that Moralde has been impressive and hasn't traveled to just throw away his perfect record. In fact he has traveled to make a statement and a win here will see him boost his standings in a massive way. It's a tough but a win really would boost his career significantly.
