Through 4 rounds it appeared that Borg was going to take a victory. He had won all 4 of the opening rounds and, with the bout scheduled for just 10, he was almost half way home. Unfortunately for Borg however he was being tagged by the occasional hard shot and he seemed to be reckless on offence giving Delos Reyes plenty of opportunities to load up on his shots.
In round 5 one of Delos Reyes's bombs, a huge right uppercut thrown from his knees, connected with Borg and sent him out for the count.
Although the title may not be a major one it's still a huge win for Delos Reyes who has now strung together 5 wins including victories over a trio of unbeaten men including Borg, Andrew Wallace and Australian based Japanese fighter Charlie Sugiura. Those victories could well make Delos Reyes a feared man in the rings "down under.
