The MVP winner was an obvious choice with Ohashi gym youngster Takuma Inoue (5-0, 1) a well deserved winner following his OPBF title triumph against Mark Anthony Geraldo back on July 6th That win saw Inoue show case his ability on route to beating the world ranked Geraldo and although he, technically, suffered a knockdown late on he was the clear winner of the bout.
The Fighting Spirit award was another relatively obvious pick with the newly crowned Japanese Flyweight champion Takuya Kogawa (24-4, 13) claiming the award. Kogawa, who beat the hard hitting Hiroki Saito on July 17th, seems unable to make life easy for himself when he steps into the ring and was forced to again show his toughness though managed to have more than enough skills and experience to over-come the hard nosed Saito.
On the same July 17th card fans saw Ryoichi Tamura out point Yusuke Suzuki with a split decision win. That win netted Tamura the "State of the Art" award.
