The MVP for the month was OPBF Suoer Bantamweight champion Hidenori Otake (29-2-3, 13) [大竹 秀典]. He earned the award by defending his title with an 11th round stoppage against fellow veteran Kinshiro Usui (27-6, 11) [臼井 欽士郎] back on July 19th in a bout that has helped set up a show down between Otake and Hinata Maruta (5-0, 4) [丸田 陽七太].
The Fighting Spirit award was won by Japanese Super Bantamweight champion Yusaku Kuga (15-2-1, 10) [久我 勇作], who made his first defense of the title, as he over-came Ryoichi Tamura (8-3-1, 5) [田村 亮一] in an absolute barn burner of a fight back on July 29th. The bout was a really tough and draining one and one that certainly left an impression on fans, who got a huge treat as the two men really beat each other up.
The Newcomer Award was won by Toshiro Tarumi (7-3-3, 3) [垂水稔朗], who scored a notable upset over Noriaki Sato (5-2-1) [佐藤 矩彰] on July 10th.
The winners will get to recieve their awards on September 22nd at the Korakuen Hall.
