Tomorrow we'll see Japanese fighter Ryosuke Iwasa (22-2, 14) [岩佐 亮佑] fight in the US as he takes on unbeaten fighter Luis Rosa (22-0-0-2, 10)in an IBF Super Bantamweight world title eliminator. Sadly for Iwasa he is very much the under-dog going into the bout with the bookies.
The bookies have priced Iwasa at best priced at around 7/4, though he is best priced at an excellent 83/41, whilst Rosa is available at 8/15 across a number of bookies. For those interested in the draw that is priced at 22/1.
At the moment no other market's are available for the bout but others are exectedto open up on Saturday as we get close to the bout.
If we're being honest we have to admit that Iwasa winning wouldn't be a huge upset and he is genuinely worth a small bet given those odds. He did come up short against Lee Haskins in his international debut but is much better than he looked there and he shouldn't be written off as some have perhaps done to him here.
