This coming Monday we'll see former world champion Tomoki Kameda (33-2, 20) [亀田和毅] face former world title challenger Ivan Morales (31-2, 19) at the Korakuen Hall, with the two headlining Asign Bee Vol 5.
Today, ahead of the bout, Morales took part in a very relaxed public training session. The session seemed overly relaxed with Daiki Kameda over-watching the session and looked as relaxed as as Morales.
At the session Morales was accompanied by former world champion Diego Morales, the lesser well known of Ivan's more well known brothers. Diego, like Daiki, seemed incredibly relaxed and almost as if it was good friend catching up rather than two trainers of rivals set to fight in just a few days time.
At the work out it was revealed that Erik Morales will travel to Japan on July 9th, and will attend the Morales Vs Kameda bout, with the two teams joking about about the fact that both families have 3 fighting brothers. Sadly though for actual work out there wasn't much to talk about with Morales going though some simple bag work out and some easy shadow boxing. It wasn't an extensive work out, but it was clear that he was comfortable in Japan and really looking forward to his upcoming bout.
