Unsurprisingly Ioka has been made a favourite for the bout, though what is surprisingly is that he is priced as a very short 2/9 favourite. Whilst we understand he is fighting at home and is 9 years younger than the champion it still seems a very short price considering that Ruenroeng holds a significant reach advantage over Ioka and also has a notable victory over the Japanese fighter from the amateur ranks.
At 3/1 Ruenroeng is a clear under-dog though he is certainly a live under-dog here and may well be the best opponent Ioka has fought since his narrow victory over Akira Yaegashi back in June 2012.
Sadly the only markets for the bout are the "To Win" market though we are hoping another bookie will follow suit tonight giving us a second opinion on the bout from the bookies perspective.
For people wanting to gamble, the firm has this bout as beginning at 9am UK time. We know this is wrong but bets will only be accepted up to this time.
Note-We are no advocating gambling or the use of bet365, we are merely using the companies odds for indicative purposes in regards to the up coming fight.
