Ahead of their bout the two men took part in their medical, which both men passed with no issues. The medical not only ran the two men through some general health checks but also saw measurements of both men being taken.
Those measures showed that Ioka has the key advantages in both height, where he has more than 7cm of advantage, and reach, where he has an edge if just over 3cm. Despite those size advantages the key advantages for Ioka will be his experienced at world level, with this bout being his 15th world title bout. He may not have the experience of Noknoi in terms of rounds, but has a much higher level of experience, with Noknoi yet to face anyone of world class ability.
The one thing Noknoi, potentially has, is that no one is really sure how good he is. Has he been fighting within himself mostly or is he as bad as the footage would suggest?
Kazuto Ioka looks to end Noknoi's 61 fight winning run!
