The bout, set for August 11th, will be Inthanon's first defense since winning the title in June with a razor thin decision victory over Jetly Purisima and promises to be an incredibly tough battle for the for the 28 year old Thai, who comes into the bout on a 7 fight winning streak since being blitzed by Jerwin Ancajas back in February 2014.
Although experienced Inthanon isn't the most talented of fighters. He has however mixed with good company having faced Masayoshi Segawa, Rocky Fuentes, Mark Anthony Geraldo and the aforementioned Ancajas.
As for Sabu he's one of the few Indonesian fighters who we always enjoy watching in action. Coming into this bout he is on a 6 fight losing streak though those losses have included an entertaining loss to Rex Tso, which can be seen below, and a gutsy loss to Stamp Kiatniwat as well as a decision loss to the monstrously hard hitting Warlito Parrenas. Sadly for Sabu 5 of those 6 those losses have come on the road and it's likely to be another loss here if he can't stop Inthanon.
For fans wishing to tune in to this one it will be aired on Channel 3SD in Thailand from 14:00 local time on August 11th.
