The usually skilled boxer has apparently been training to be more aggressive, with the work out today showing Mukai as a more offensively minded fighter.
It seems that Mukai, and his team, feel that allowing Tso to be on the front foot will be a huge mistake, especially given the fact the crowd will be cheering on the local. Instead they'll be be looking forthe Japanese fighter to push Tso back and to take the crowd out of the fight early on.
Mukai, who has tasted defeat to the likes of Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and Shohei Omori, is the big under-dog going into the bout but will feel he has the experience to defeat he exciting but limited Tso. He has faced numerous top fighters and it's certainly not a step up for Mukaim, whilst the bout is actually a notable step up for Tso, who will be facing one of the most accomplished opponents of his career, so far.
