This coming weekend we'll see the rematch between Ryota Murata (12-1, 9) [村田 諒太] and WBA Middleweight champion Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (36-2, 21), with Murata looking to avenege his sole loss, and N'Dam looking to record his first defense of the title he won back in May, with a questionable decision over Murata.
Today, ahead of their bout, N'Dam took part in a public work out and media session.
N'Dam seemed confident through out the session and seemed to speak as if his first bout with Murata will help him coming in to this rematch. Suggesting that he now knows what to expect from the Japanese fighter and that he will not be dropped, like he was in the first meeting with the 2012 Olympic gold medal winner.
The session saw N'Dam focus on blocking the right hand and countering, working the process into his routine with Pedro Diaz and making it clear he has scouted the right hand of Murata, was was a key weapon in their first bout.
He looked sharp working the mitts and heavy bag and his confidence was incredible, especially given that so many people felt he had had a gift in his first bout with Murata.
