Later today fight fans around the world will see WBC, WBA, IBF and IBO champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33) defend his title against linear champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (49-1-1, 24) in one of the most anticipated bouts of the year.
Yesterday the two men took part in their weigh in and both made the 160lb limit and looked in fantastic shape.
On the sclaes Canelo looked the more ripped, showing off his carved torso and it's clear he has bulked up for this bout following a bit of a strange time in his career where he has fluctuated between weight classes.
As for Golovkin he looked in good shape but wasn't as ripped as the Mexican, and looked more like a fighter who was settled at the weight he's fighting at, rather than trying to fill his body out.
Speaking to the media both fighters seemed incredibly confident, but it's clear there is a risk for both men, and neither can over-look their opponent coming in to this one.
