A few hours ago fans got the chance to see the official weigh in for this weekend's WBA Middleweight "Super" title fight between the unbeaten Gennady Golovkin (29-0, 26) and Daniel Geale (30-2, 16).
Geale, who weighed in first, was comfortably inside the Middleweight limit coming in at 159.2lbs. Golovkin, who looked absolutely amazing on the scales was much closer to the limit weighing in at 159.8lbs.
For both fighters these were pretty much their usual weights. Neither man has been more than a lbs either side of their respective weights in a long time.
With both men hit the scales within a lb of each other we're not expecting the difference between them to be too much tomorrow and if both guys come in in the low 170's we'd not be surprised at all.
The fight, which takes place in the US will see Golovkin looking for a 11th defence of various WBA "world" titles, so far they have all ended in TKO's and few are giving Geale much of a chance to see the final bell against the heavy handed Kazakh.
