Tomorrow fight fans in Osaka will get the chance to see OPBF Female Featherweight champion Wakako Fujiwara (8-3-2, 3) [藤原芽子] defending her title against Yoshie Wakasa (6-1, 2) [若狭与志枝].
Today the two women took part in their weigh in, and both made the 126lb Featherweight limit with no issues at all.
The champion, the taller fighter, came in at 125.5lbs and looked in great shape for the bout, which will serve as her second title defense.
Wakasa was even lighter on the scales, at around 125.25lbs. She looked confident, but seemed much smaller than Fujiwara, which is no surprise given she has fought much of her career at Bantamweight, and looked like she was carrying extra weight into this fight.
