Earlier this week at the WBO annual meeting in Las Vegas we saw two Japanese fighters being honoured for their recent achievements.
The fighters in question were the newly crowned WBO female Minimumweight champion Kumiko Seeser Ikehara (6-1-1, 3), who won the title on September 20th with a clear victory over Filipino Gretchen Abaniel, and WBO Atomweight champion Nao Ikeyama (15-3-1, 4), who defended her title against Masae Akitaya on the same September 20th show.
The fighters, pictured with WBO president Francisco "Paco" Varcarcel and Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera, both seemed proud to be honoured at the event and we would like to congratulate them on their achievements.
