In January we reported that there was a WBO female Light Flyweight title fight between unbeaten champion Eun Hye Lee (8-0, 3) [이은혜] and exciting Australian challenger Louisa "Bang Bang" Hawton (6-0, 3)*. Originally we reported that bout was set for January 10th, though when it didn't take place we were left confused by the lack of communication from the KBC.
Now it seems the fight has been rearranged and is now pencilled in to take place on February 21st in Gangwon-Do.
The bout will be Hawton's first world title bout whilst Lee will be making he first defense of the title she won last September.
As with the originally scheduled date the under-card will feature a pair of Korean, KBC version, title fights and will be televised on KBS N Sports.
At the moment no other bouts, other than the Korean title fights, have been announced for this show.
*Hawton's team have informed us that she has a bout that is missing from her boxrec record.
