Earlier today we learned that Japan's once beaten Etsuko Tada (13-1-2, 3) will be returning to the ring on November 8th in an attempt to avenge her sole loss and reclaim the WBA female Minimumweight title. That bout will see Tada will be travelling over to Mexico to fight against the talented but light hitting Anabel Ortiz (15-3, 5).
The two women met in 2013 with Ortiz taking the WBA title from Tada with a very hard fought and highly debatable split decision. Since then Ortiz has fought 3 times and defended the belt twice, including a clear decision against South Korean Hye-Soo Park.
As for Tada she has been somewhat inactive with just a single fight, an 8th round TKO over Thailand's Rathsada Sor Worasin.
Although not yet listed on boxrec.com the bout was confirmed earlier by Shinsei Gym, Tada's current promoter.
