Sources in Japan have informed us that Japanese southpaw Etsuko Tada (14-2-2, 4) will return to the ring on December 11th as part of a Shinsei promoted card in Kobe City.
Whilst that is news it's self the source has given more information regarding the bout, informing us that Tada's bout will see her fight for the vacant IBF female Minimumweight title and give her a chance to become a 2-time world champion at the age of 34. However no opponent has been announced for Tada who is expected to have an opponent named in the coming weeks.
The bout will be Tada's first since a stay busy win over Chamagorn Sithsaithong in April and it will be her first world title bout since last November's split decision loss to WBA female Minimumweight champion Anabel Ortiz, in what was Tada's second loss to the talented Mexican.
Although a talented warrior Tada has, at times, struggled to get fights with opponents often avoiding her due to her style and skills. Hopefully however her December bout will be a good one with a top level opponent rather than someone there to just make up the numbers.
