Earlier today fans in the Big Wave in Wakayama saw former world title holder Etsuko Tada (13-1-2, 3) bounce back from her first career defeat with an excellent 8th round TKO victory over a Thai opponent.
Tada, who was beaten controversially by Anabel Ortiz last year, was fighting for the first time in 10 months and, at times, it looked like she was struggling a little with ring rust. Despite the struggles however her class shone through and as soon as she settled back into the fight she began to tear lumps out of her Thai foe.
Although we've not got the name of the Thai we did get to hear that Tada is chasing a return to the world title picture and has said she will fight any champion between Atomweight and Light Flyweight. With her style and skills there is no doubting that she has the ability to pick up a second world title somewhere down the line.
