The show, which as been dubbed "The Boxing Revolution II", hasn't been totally matched up as of yet though is set to feature a trio of notable Filipino fighters, all of which are heavy handed and exciting to watch.
The most notable bout on the show will see the return to the ring of the highly popular Denver Cuello (33-5-6, 21) who has been inactive since losing to Xiong Zhao Zhong in Dubia in June 2013. That bout saw Cuello re-injuring his shoulder and being forced to have serious work done to repair it. Sadly that work, and rehab, has taken more than a year though we're all looking forward to see "The Excitement" return to the ring.
As well as Cuello we've also been told that Rey Loreto (18-13, 10), the IBO Light Flyweight champion, and Edrin Dapudong (29-6, 17), the former IBO Super Flyweight champion, will be in action.
For Loreto this will be his first bout since his stunning upset of the year contender against Nkosinathi Joyi way back in February. The idea seems to be for Loreto to fight on this show to shake some rust before fighting a rematch with Joyi in December to prove that his win wasn't a fluke.
As for Dapudong he'll be fighting a stay busy fight before he gets a chance to fight in a rematch with Lwandile Sityatha, hopefully at the end of this year.
No opponents for the three Filipino's have been named though they have been linked to opponents from Thailand and Japan and expected to have the fights signed in the next week or so.
