Earlier today Mexican fighter David Carmona (20-2-5, 8) took part in his public practice session ahead of his mandatory world title challenge of WBO Super Flyweight Naoya Inoue (9-0, 8) [井上 尚弥].
The session, held at the Teiken gym, saw Carmona work up a good sweat whilst seeming calm and confident of winning his upcoming bout.
At the session Carmona seemed to accept that whilst he was confident he was also up against a very talented fighter and was very complimentary of Inoue, seemingly accepting that the Japanese youngster was a phenomenal talent.
Notably Carmona seems comfortably at the weight, and although 800g's over the limit at the moment it's a given that he will be able to lose that by Satuday's weigh in.
The session was watched by members of Inoue's team who seemed to see that Carmona was defensively sound but they seemed very confident in their man over-coming the Mexican. They were however impressed with a number of things Carmona did in the session.
