In September we saw former Japanese amateur stand out Ayako Minowa (1-0, 1) [箕輪 綾子] make her professional debut, fighting under the ring name Chaoz Minowa [チャオズ箕輪]. We now know that Minowa won't need to wait long for her second bout.
The exciting, and incredibly talented, Minowa will be returning on October 9th in her international debut as she fights in Daejeon, South Korea.
Minowa will be up against Korea's very own Chan Mi Lim (2-1, 2)* in a 6 round bout.
Whilst Minowa will be favoured, given how impressive she looked on her debut and her amateur credentials, it's fair to say that this will be no walk in the park with Lim impressing earlier this year, when she destroyed Eiko Jonai back in June, in a bout that we've included below.
The bout will be part of the under-card for the Je Ni Ma's (9-1-3, 8) [마제니] WBO Asia Pacific title bout with Hironobu Matsunaga (10-1, 5) [松永 宏]
*Boxrec list Lim as 2-0 (2) whilst the KBF list her as 2-1 (2)
