On November 28th Japanese fans get a treat as WOWOW put their channels on for free for a day. As part of that coverage they will include a live "Excite Fight" card which will feature two world tile bouts. One of those world title bouts will see Teiken promoted Mexican Carlos Cuadras (33-0-1, 26) defending his WBC Super Flyweight title against the always fun to watch Koki Eto (17-3-1, 13).
Today, ahead of that bout, Cuadras took part in a public training sessions The session saw Cuadras hitting the mitts and the heavy bag and it seemed that Yoko Gushiken, the mentor of Koki Eto, was less than impressed by the work out. The work was alsop accompanied by a short question and answer session with Cuadras and trainer Rudy Hernandez which saw both men looking relaxed and confident
Strangely there was also talk about Cuadras's father and manager, Rosario Cuadras, being a big fan of Gushiken, and that he was hoping to meet him, though hadn't traveled to Japan for this fight.
Cuadras and Eto face off in probably FOTY contender!
