We are more than a third of the way through June and it's fair to say that it's not been a great month of action, especially given that is has followed an amazing May and comes before a stacked June. Sadly though the calendar is pretty empty and there's not much to say about it.
That lack of action has been seen in the recent announcement that Boxing Raise made about their content for the month.
They have revealed that they will only be putting up 2 shows from the month, the June 9th card featuring an OPBF female Minimumweight title bout between Eruka Hiromoto [廣本江留香] and Chan Mi Lim, along with the June 25th Japan Vs Career Dangan card. Obviously the June 9th card has been and gone, and the June 25th card will also not be shown live.
To make up for the lack of new content this month the service will add 5 archive shows, including 3 that are free to view.
The free to view shows are from the 2019 Rookie of the year preliminary rounds, whilst the other two are Dangan shows from 2015, with one of those featuring a previously unavailable Sho Kimura [木村翔], as well as title fight on each show.
For subscribers this certainly isn't one of the better months, but it's good to see Dangan digging into their closet to give fans something even when there isn't much happening, and hopefully we will see more and more classic Dangan cards being added in the months to come.
