Tomorrow Thai fans get the chance to see IBF Flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng (16-0, 5) defending his title against little known Japanese challenger Myung Ho Lee (19-4-1, 6). The bout, which will be aired on Channel 32, will be Amnat's 5th defense and is likely to be followed by a super fight in 2016.
Today both Amnat and Lee made weight for the bout, with both fighters hitting the scales at 112lbs.
For Amnat this is the 5th time in 6 bouts that he has come in at 112lbs dead on, the one exception being his remarkably light 109½lbs against McWilliams in September 2014. As for Lee it's the 4th time in a row that he has come in at 112lbs, which has been his typical weight through out his career. Whilst this is Lee's typical weight he has been fighting between 115lbs and 104½lbs during his 9 year career.
