We have been informed that Amnat Ruenroeng (13-0, 5) will be make the upcoming defence of his IBF Flyweight title earlier than expected.
We had reported, several weeks ago, that Ruenroeng would be defended his title on September 14th against mandatory McWilliams Arroyo (15-1, 13). It appears that due to the Asian Games football tournament beginning on September 14th the fight has been brought forward 4 days and will now take place on September 10th.
The fight will take place at it's originally scheduled venue, Liptapanlop Hall in Nakhon Ratchasima, with only the date changing.
As we're talking about the Asian Games anyway we'd like to inform you that the boxing begins on September 23rd and the finals are on October 1st and October 3rd. We assume that the first set of finals are female bouts whilst the October 3rd are the men finals.
News! We try and give you the most interesting news stories from the Asian boxing world!
