We are glad to report that all the fighters in action in Seoul this coming Sunday have made weight at the first attempt.
The card, headlined by a bout between WBC youth Super Bantamweight champion Ye-Joon Kim (9-1-2, 4) and Japanese visitor Yoshiyuki Takabayashi (8-4, 3), is listed as unsanctioned by boxrec.com though the show is all over the excellent Korea Boxing website which has confused us immensely.
From the images we've seen it appears that Kim, a bleached haired Korean who is viewed as the countries next boxing star, is much smaller than Takabayashi. Despite the height disadvantage the show has been geared to giving Kim his 10th professional win and helping build him towards bigger and better fights, hopefully including an OPBF level fight in 2015.
From what we understand the show will feature 9 bouts in total with two of the contests being between Korean fighters and Japanese fighters. Of those 9 bouts we've been told several, including one will be a female bout, will be very interesting, unfortunately however we're unsure of the names of many of those on the show.
