Earlier today Ohashi Gym tweeted the poster of their September 5th show and to be honest we like it.
The poster, which can be seen opposite, features the 4 big names from the show. Japanese unbeaten Olympic champion Ryota Murata (4-0, 4) is at the top, underneath him is rising sensation Naoya Inoue (6-0, 5) then we we get Akira Yaegashi (20-3, 10) and of course Roman Gonzalez (39-0, 33) at the bottom.
It appears that the poster has signalled that the shows official name will be "The Fight" which in all honesty sums up what the man event is. Even though it appears to follow a similar naming logic to a lot of Floyd Mayweather's bouts, such as "The One" and "The Moment" this one actually is relevant to the contest at hand and we really do expect Yaegashi Vs Gonzalez to be "The Fight".
In honesty apart from the name of the show the poster confirms what we already knew. It confirms that Fuji TV will be televising the action, something that was going to be the case with Inoue and Murata anyway, it also confirms the 3 major bouts and the the date and time.
What it adds however is an image and it's an image that we like and in fact we think we're going to see a lot of over the coming months.
We know we're not alone here but we are certainly looking forward to "The Fight", a fight that we think could be the FOTY.
